Star2Star's Mobile Softphone app for iPhone combines a full-featured IP telephone application with advanced presence and voicemail tools. The result is an easy-to-use softphone that allows users to make and receive calls using your company's Star2Star telephone system.

Softphone users appear on the Star2Star system as standard extensions. Calls to other extensions can be made using the Softphone's built-in dialing directory, or the user can enter any 3- or 5-digit extension number. Outbound calls made from the softphone travel over the IP data network, and are not billed for airtime as cellular calls.
Calls can be made over virtually any IP network, including public WiFi hotspots. If no WiFi is available, the call will be placed using the phone's 3G or 4G data connection. Users can take advantage of Star-2Star's powerful Find Me / Follow Me call routing to automatically send calls to their softphone after a pre-determined number of rings.
