Our flagship product, Star2Star's Starbox, provides the world’s most reliable business communications solution. It was designed and built to provide a revolutionary set of features with unmatched quality and reliability. The Starbox provides all the features of an IP PBX system as well as vital traffic–shaping and quality monitoring and management features.
There is currently three Starbox models:
- StarBox 5500 (up to 500 local extensions)
- StarBox 2250 (up to 250 local extensions)
- StarBox Lite (up to 20 local extensions)
All three Starbox models are identical in functionality except when it comes to the number of supported users. Whatever your internet connection may be using (Cable, T1, or Fiber) these systems provide powerful and unique calling features such as unlimited voicemail extensions, extensive interactive voice menus, call queues, conference bridges, and ring groups.
The Starbox connects over the internet to one of the seven data centers across the nation where the quality of your internet circuit and phone system is monitored around the clock 24/7. This continuous monitoring allows Star2Star to guarantee 99.99% reliability while providing dramatic savings over traditional phone systems.
Call Recording
The Starbox’s 2250 and 5500 have the option to add a solid-state storage device for call recording. The model 2250CR can hold up to 2,500 hours of recorded calls and the 5500CR can hold up to 5,000 hours of recorded calls.
Recorded Calls can be played and downloaded using the Application Framework and accessed remotely by your local administrator. Star2Star also offers an optional could-based archive service for long-term storage of your call recordings.
Be Cool, Be Green
The Starbox 2250 only uses 25 watts of power and the Starbox lite only uses 6 watts of power. Both are silent fanless designs with no hard drives and or moving parts. The Starbox 5500 is a 1U rack mount unit and it contains a Solid-State Disk for a quiet, efficient, and reliable operation.
